Our Service Level Commitment
Our equipment is located at Rackspace's datacentres in London and San Antonio. Our network has a guaranteed 100% uptime availability and this has been achieved for over 2 years.
We take every care to ensure our servers are specified to be as redundant as possible including the provisioning of RAID 5 disks, Dual Power supplies and multiple network connections. Failures, however, do occur. There are two types of potential failure:
- Software application failure
- Hardware failure
In the case of a software application failure, our systems monitor each critical application every 60 seconds (including web services, databases, email services) and notify our offsite technical staff via SMS and email of any software failure.
If a hardware failure affects our systems, both our offsite technical staff and 24/7 onsite technical staff are notified. If the failure is hardware, we have a guaranteed 1-hour replacement to ensure minimal disruption is experienced.
